BELLEVUE, WA—(May 20, 2009)—Many modern-day parents are faced with the question of whether their child should take a psychiatric medicine, such as Ritalin or Prozac. A workshop titled "Understanding the Psychiatric Medicine Dilemma" will be presented by Kevin Kalikow, MD on June 26th from 8:30 am until 4 pm at the Hyatt in Morristown, NJ. The basics of common psychiatric disorders, such as ADHD and Depression, as well as a parent-friendly approach to understanding medicines will be reviewed. In the morning session, Kevin Kalikow, MD, child/adolescent psychiatrist and author, will provide information and answer questions.
