I bring over 20 years of experience as a Montessori teacher to my parent coaching efforts. Over the years, I have successfully completed complementary courses in a vast variety of subjects related to child development, children with special needs, peaceful mediation, parenting, and communication. Born and raised in Sweden/Goteborg, my husband (a scientist) and I have resided, since 1997, in the U.S., where we have raised our son and daughter, both now teenagers. Ultimately I speak fluent Swedish as well as English.

The families and children that I work with represent a wide range of abilities, ages, needs, and personalities. Every family possesses its own dynamics, and as a parenting coach, I help my clients embrace the values and beliefs that make their families special. Through positive communication, focused listening, and insightful feedback, I strive to empower my clients to meet their particular parenting challenges. I see parent coaching not only as the enlightenment of the mind, but also as the expansion of the heart. I believe that the unfolding life of the family is best approached with a holistic vision. Honesty, positive feedback, resourcefulness, creativity, and humor are essential to my coaching style.
